The F-15E Strike Eagle is a two seat fighter-bomber version of the F-15 Eagle. It first saw combat in the Gulf War, where it was used against a large number of targets, including Iraqi airfields and Scud missile launching sites.[1] Strike Eagles have been utilized in almost every major American military campaign since then, including Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Foreign users of the F-15E include Israel, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.[2]
