→‎Request to come back: Should we accept anyone who calls themselves Christian as Christian?
Line 26: Line 26:
Amen, good sir. I am a Catholic, and a Progressive one at that, and I cannot understand why others who claim to be Christians feel that it is their prerogative to declare whether my views on Jesus and his teachings are valid or not. I admire your stance. --[[User:IlTrovatore|IlTrovatore]] 00:04, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

: I accept that Catholics can be Christians, and I think I disagree with Ultimahero on that, but what I don't accept is what is implied in your comment, that we should accept as Christian anyone who claims that label regardless of whether their beliefs are consistent with biblical teaching.  [[User:Philip J.
