Talk:Kosher

I would focus less on the Hebrew terminology and more on what makes food kosher or not. Also, why is it important to (some) Jews to "keep Kosher", while others may not bother?

Also, the image of the non-dairy creamer seems a bit "cheesy" (no pun intended). How about a rabbi or a butcher shop? Or a picnic at a synagogue? --Ed Poor ^Talk 15:44, 10 July 2008 (EDT)

Cut and Paste

There's some extensive and significant cutting and pasting from [1]. Pasting another author's work wholesale and continually citing the source after the end of each sentence isn't acceptable in an academic paper. Corry 17:34, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

Actually I only copied a paragraph-size section from jewfaq.org/Kashrut.htm but interesting is that it is identical to http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/kashrut.html
