Action taken and explained
I have wiped this page of its bigoted and unfounded accusations. Glaring errors include:
- the statement that 'Catholics invented Liberation Theology. This implies that the Church approved Liberation Theology; it did not. LT was an aberrant ideology of a minority of clergy and leftist infiltrators.
- the inference that the Mafia is active in a majotr way in Ireland. This is rubbish.
- the statement that gang activity is rare in 'Christian countries' implies that Catholics are not Christians. Again, this untrue, and I believe is a deliberate and provocative untruth born of the author's own bigotry.
I believe (by the tenor of the article) that the author is teh same person who has, under different user names, posted anti-Catholic rants, chock full of lies. Therefore I have banned him/her indefinitely. Bugler 13:23, 11 September 2008 (EDT)
