Thirty Years' War

The Thirty Years' War began as a religious conflict in Germany between Bohemian Prostestansts and Hapsburg Catholics in 1618. It soon became a political conflict for power that included Spain, Holland, Denmark, France, Switzerland, and The Hoy Roman Empire.
