Columbus Crew is a soccer team currently playing in MLS. The first owner was one of the original MLS benefactors, Lamar Hunt. They were also the first MLS team to get the first soccer-specific stadium (a stadium that is not shared by the team), Columbus Crew Stadium. The team won the 2008 MLS Cup over the New York Red Bulls, 3-1.
