| − | ==Dispute Resolution Procedure==
| |
| | | | |
| − | I think the best way to handle disputes and choose a logo is for me to step aside and allow a panel of the students who helped found this site decide these matters. None of these individuals are related to me and I have disagreed with some of them in the past. They don't have any ax to grind. They deserve a key role in deciding direction here.

| − | They will first pick a logo, taking into the account the recent revelation that the defacing of the leading choice may have been by the designer himself. Next they will resolve the dispute over The Theory of Evolution page. I don't know what or how they will decide but I am confident that this is the most fair way to resolve this. I agree beforehand to abide by their decision and trust everyone else here will also. Thank you.--Aschlafly 22:36, 22 March 2007 (EDT)

| − | **Seems like the Arbitration committee. I hope that each party involved will be able to state their arguments and opinions, and citations they wish to use, etc. Also, will the homeschoolers who founded the site be able to make decisions based on the Commandments, rather than their own personal biases? --<font color="#0000CC" face="Comic Sans MS">Hojimachong</font><font color="00FFAA">talk</font> 22:42, 22 March 2007 (EDT)

| − | ::: Sure, they'll be as unbiased as anyone. Perhaps a separate page should be set up for arguments. Feel free to move stuff from this page.--Aschlafly 23:01, 22 March 2007 (EDT)

| − | Support. I'm tired of all the wrangling over the Evolution page, and some sort of binding arbitration is necessary when even sysops don't agree. Hopefully we can all put aside our differences and agree to go with what the students say. MountainDew 00:14, 23 March 2007 (EDT)

| − | :Response:Not necessarily opposed to the idea itself (it can be reworked), but regardless of what we know the students to be (hard-working, dedicated, etc.) having a bunch of high-school age editors making vital decisions instantly obliterates any credibility we may have had amongst non-Conservapedians. As editors, SYSOPS, and Bureaucrats, they are awesome. Since we want to draw more people in (this is meant to be a truthful, accurate encyclopedia), this is not a good thing to be doing (that is, destroying credibility in the eyes of non-Conservapedias). Of course the homeschoolers need to exert responsibility over the running of this site, but them being the higher authority is not compatible with the goal of creating an encyclopedia as stated on official pages. Just my $0.02, feel free to comment. --<font color="#0000CC" face="Comic Sans MS">Hojimachong</font><font color="00FFAA">talk</font> 00:16, 23 March 2007 (EDT)
