He wrote many series, from "The Spearwielders Tale," and "The Crimson Shadow", but his most famous character is [[Drizzt Do' Urden]], the dark elf or drow. Drizzt's early life was depicted in the[[Dark Elf Trilogy]], where the swashbuckling drow rose above his dark origins. Most of R. A. These notable characters are Regis the Hafling, Bruenor Battlehammer, Obould Many-Arrows, Matron Malice, Jarlaxle, Cattie-Brie, Artemis Entreri, Athrogate, Morik the Rogue, and Wulfgar the Barbarian. R. A. Salvator also created the crystal shard Crenishibon, the sentient crystal whispering fallacies into the mind of the beholder. a The Forgotten Realms was first created by Ed Greenwood, a fellow author.
