Both terms occur frequently in all kinds of literature. "Mathematical Expectation" is perhaps the more official math term, but "Expected Value", "Expectation Value" all occur frequently. Not really sure what the best way to handle this is. Perhaps wiki supports something like aliases? Qwestor 10:02, 19 January 2009 (EST)
