The '''Wii''' is a video game console launched on November 19 2006 by [[Nintendo]]. Its major selling point is the inclusion of motion sensitive controllers such as the "Wiimote" and the "Nunchuk". Popular games for Wii include [[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess]], [[Super Mario Galaxy]], [[Super Paper Mario]], [[Super Smash Brothers Brawl]], and [[Wii Sports]]. Nintendo is expected to release several new popular titles for the Wii in the coming years.

The Wii was released around the same time as the [[Playstation 3]] and [[XBox360]], but is considered by many to not be competing in the same market. While the PS3 and XBox360 target "hardcore" gamers, the Wii is aimed at more casual gamers, including families.
