The Red Envelope Project is a Christian grassroots project consisting of flooding the mail with red letters, symbolizing the blood of Christ and the blood of abortion victims. Red envelopes are sent to the Whitehouse, in protest against President Obama's pro-abortion and embryonic stem cell research positions. There is no central organization behind the project, though a small handful of websites contain information and instructions for participation.
