::A few points: 1) Tacitus was never refereed by any Christian in his time, Nero. Ever. At all. 2) Pontius Pilate did not have the power to kill Jesus at the time that Tacitus wrote about. 3) Tacitus also says that Christians were guilty to setting fire to Rome. Also, the "Christian" in his work, is a misunderstanding. It did not say Christians it said ''Chrestians''. There's an e, not i. You are mistaken. Jesus was a fable.
