Sydnee Waggoner is the recipient of the 2009 Miss Alaska Scholarship. Her platform issues include education and women's health. Waggoner is an Evangelical Christian and attends services at Anchorage Baptist Temple when not in school out of state. She is currently perusing a master's degree in operatic singing.
