The '''Zulus''' are an African ethnic group which rose to power in southern [[Africa]] in the 1800s.  The were lead by a military genius named [[Shaka]]. The Zulus were a warrior tribe that imposed strict religious fundamentalism on neighboring peaceful tribes, mostly controlling traditional views of marriage. After Shaka died, his successors could not keep power and were defeated by the British.

Shaka Zulu was the third born son of Senzangakhona.
