Eminem is the stage name of popular rapper Marshall Bruce Mathers III. Born October 17, 1972 (age 53), Mathers grew up in on 8 Mile Detroit, Michigan. He is an award-winning musician and holds a Grammy and Academy Award.
He is known for his rap music, and specifically its frequent use of profanity, drug references, and sexual content. His lyrics have often been criticized by overly-sensitive liberals and radical feminists as violent, homophobic, and misogynistic.
