2010 Midterms
A poll released shows Runyan leading New Jersey Democrat Rep. John Adler 48 percent to 43 percent among likely voters. [1] Real Clear Politics has the seat leaning Republican. He is facing a third-party challenge from Peter DeStefano. DeStefano calls himself the Tea Party candidate but nobody in the Tea Party Movement recognizes him. It has been speculated that DeStefano is a Democrat endorsed candidate running to siphon votes from Runyan.
Runyan said he’s campaigning with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and RNC chair Michael Steele Thursday October 29th.
