Other uses
AC/DC may also refer to an Australian rock band of the same name. They formed in the 1970s and have been one of the most popular rock bands ever since. They have been featured in both the Guitar Hero and Rock Band video game series. Popular frontman Bon Scott was killed because of an accidental overdose of alcohol in 1980. The band continued on after recruiting frontman Brian Johnson, who sounds similar to Scott. Johnson was a popular replacement and the band enjoyed success throughout the 1980s, however Johnson was not able to eclipse the popularity of Scott. The band consists of brothers, Angus and Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd.
