Not to be confused with Dexter's Laboratory
Dexter is a TV series on Showtime, about a murderous vigilante. Dexter himself is an atheist. However, the show does depict normal people being religious, and although Dexter is glorified as a serial killer, the show downplays other criminals, liars, murders, and adulterers. In the very first episode of the series, Dexter criticizes adultery.
Conservative media watchdogs have criticized the show as perverse but liberal television critics give their approval. [1]
