The Solyndra scandal is a scandal, which has been termed Obama's Watergate, that involved Obama and his aides pushing a $500 million loan to a so-called "green energy" company called Solyndra as part of Obama's 2009 stimulus. Solyndra had been deemed in bad fiscal health by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and subsequently filed for bankruptcy.
