Talk:The Catcher in the Rye

Was anyone else seriously offended by this book? I heard once that this book contains something like 275 separate instances of the lord's name in veign, mainly GD. That's excluding the other profanities. Then there's the instance when holden insults christians claming that he, n atheist, knows Jesus better than this catholic boy. Then there's other horible things like when he solicites a prostitute. Even though he doesn't go through with it, he almost engaged. I want to say something about this on the actual page but don't know how to go about it, since I'm new here and don't want to go about it wrong. Any help on how to go about this? If this is more sutable for an Essay, I can do that. Pokematic
