Luke was a Greek doctor who wrote the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. Unlike the other authors of the Gospels, Luke did not observe the events of [[Jesus]]'s life first hand, but relied upon eyewitness accounts from others. Since Luke was a highly educated man, his gospel is very detailed and comprehensive.
