Bilbao (Basque: Bilbo) is the capital of the province of Biscay (Vizcaya in Spanish, Bizkaia in Basque) and the biggest city of the Basque country, in northern Spain. The city has 345,122 inhabitants (2016) and is on the mouth of the Nervión River.[1]
