NOFX is a punk band from the Bay Area, California, United States. Formed in 1983, the current lineup includes Fat Mike (Mike Burkett), El Hefe (Aaron Abeyta), Eric Melvin and Erik Sandin. They operate under the record labels of Epitaph Records and Fat Wreck Chords.
Recent albums have included War on Errorism, Wolves in Wolves Clothing, Pump up the Valium/Valuum. They are still touring and producing records, and Fat Mike has produced many musical acts of varying types and qualities.
The themes of many of this band's songs have included drugs, anti-Republican and anti-American sentiments. Because of this, they are largely disliked in conservative American culture.
