Many interpert the bible and other holy scriptures to say that procreation in humans is a holy act only to be performed between a married man and woman.  Its purpose it to further the races of God's children.  Procreation is a natural act that is the act that occurs when a marriage is consummated.

See Sexual reproduction, for a more biological perspective of all life.

Human procreation includes the process of conceiving and bearing offspring, but is not limited to biological simplicity. Procreation was ordained by God from the very beginning when He created Adam and Eve. After God created them, He blessed them and said, "...Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it...".[1]

Eternal aspects of human procreation

One of the crucial differences between animal sexual reproduction and human procreation, is that when a new human being is conceived, that child is an eternal being.
