So, what do you think about moving this to Loop (computer programming) or Loop (computers)? -DrSandstone 12:58, 2 December 2008 (EST)

As soon as it gets in the way of other loops, we'll have to move it. Were you thinking of the little strip of cloth in your pants that the belt goes through? --Ed Poor Talk 13:00, 2 December 2008 (EST)
A loop can be a whole lot of things... any kind of a routine that's done repeatedly, an aerial maneuver, a part of a roller coaster, a repeating cycle (eg music, video, programming, etc.), a circuit that you might follow (eg a patrol), a circle of rope, a figure skating jump, a type of finger print pattern, the name of a band, a book, and other media. I'm going to stop now. Mikek 13:10, 2 December 2008 (EST)
I wasn't thinking of anything in particular, I just thought it would make sense to be as specific now as possible. If I were to search for loop here, I wouldn't necessarily expect an article on computer programs, though I can't think of any other "loop" right now that deserves its own article. As the need arises is fine with me. -DrSandstone 13:21, 2 December 2008 (EST)
