Steve Austin (born Steven James Anderson on December 18, 1964; age 61), is a retired American professional wrestler.
He is best known for his days with World Wrestling Entertainment under the ring name "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, a name he adopted as there was already a wrestler also named (real name, not stage name) Steve Williams, a former Oklahoma Sooner football player who was already established in the industry as "Dr. Death" Steve Williams (at the time, Steve had taken his stepfather's name as his surname).
