I'm a registered Republican, and this is atrocious.  That you can't stop walking around with your knuckles dragging on the ground and admit evolution is a fact is really sickening; if anything, it's proof that evolution ''does'' exist, since you haven't evolved to have enough intelligence to see what's right in front of your faces.  Creationism is a perfectly valid subject, and a very interesting one at that, but it belongs in philosophy class, not science class, because it's not science.  This article is a case of the reverse scientific method; you have your conclusion that you want to force through, then you find any little scrap of information you seem to think supports your position and push it with full force while ignoring the vast amounts of information contradicting you.  As someone with a distant relative who has TB that's resistant to 5 antibiotics, I can see evolution in action, and it's a painful reminder that evolution is all to real.  If you really think anyone will take you seriously after reading this, you'd be sorely mistaken; I certainly can't.
