In the [[United Kingdom]], police and [[left-wing]] local governments are known to have sanctioned the criminal gangs, and have pursued parents and critics with alleged [[hate crime]] laws.
A UK think tank issued a report in December 2017. Grooming gangs were studied going back to 2005.
