I heartily agree with this objection. So I did something. I immediately revised the statement re Gabriel to a statement that Jibril is believed by many to be Gabriel, then added a fat ref note that Jibril is not the same being as Gabriel, and that if the Qur’an was indeed delivered by It to Muhammad It was lying. I also added several other links, including the fact that a [[falsehood]] believed to be true is not the same as a [[lie]] ''intended'' to [[Deceit|deceive]].
