Antifa has drawn on the organizing principles and game plan of the [[SDS]], [[Weather Underground]] (WUO), and [[Black Panthers]] of the 1960s for Marxist, and Maoist, revolution. The SDS was a million member band of student from which a few hardcore, violent radicals were recruited which constituted the Weather Underground.  These violent radicals were predominantly white.  Under Marxist and Maoist theory of communist revolution, the Black Panthers were designated as the spearhead of the revolution, with the WUO and SDS as "support" groups.
