::::::On another note, what's ironic is that should this scenario become a reality it would result in a massive shift in geopolitical priorities for the British (and by extension the entire Anglo-American) foreign policy establishment. Historically, the UK has prioritized containing whichever continental hegemon is closest to its borders. Hence why during both World Wars it prioritized containing Germany while (for the most part) allowing Russia to do what it wanted. In this scenario the closest hegemon to the UK's borders would once again be Germany, so its new priority would be containing Germany instead of containing Russia.--[[User:Geopolitician|Geopolitician]] ([[User talk:Geopolitician|talk]]) 12:19, September 29, 2022 (EDT) | ::::::On another note, what's ironic is that should this scenario become a reality it would result in a massive shift in geopolitical priorities for the British (and by extension the entire Anglo-American) foreign policy establishment.
