Opinion of Conservapedia
It is a very intriguing project, but I do see some limitations in it. Now I don't want to overgeneralize, but I will give an example. It seems like Conservapedia in general tends to be very culturally focused rather than information focused. And by that I don't mean that we should address culturally relevant issues, but sometimes the articles overly address them. For example, the Video game articles start out like this, "Video games are electronic games commonly played by a wide portion of the population." The only definition of what a video game is that I saw was "electronic game." Even in that first sentence we encounter a cultural item: "a wide portion of the population." The rest of the paragraph and article seems to focus on types of games, genres, laws, moral issues, etc, but there is no other explicit definition of what a Video game actually is.
Now I realize it's a work in progress, and this may not and does not reflect every article. There are some articles that have very careful and explicit definitions, but this one does not.
Right now that is probably my only major complaint, since I haven't been very actively involved.
