Mark Gordon (born March 14, 1957) is an American politician and current governor of Wyoming since 2019. He formerly served as the Wyoming state treasurer from 2012 to 2019. he was elected in 2018 to succeeded the term-limited Republian Matt Mead., a grandson of former Governor and U.S. Senator Clifford Hansen.
Gordon is a Moderate Republican and a strong proponent of "green" energy initiatives despite the opposition of many conservative Republicans in the legislature. Many Republicans in the state were hoodwinked by Gordon in the mistaken belief that he is a conservative.
