The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the "Clery Act"), originally named the "Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990," requires American colleges and universities across the United States to disclose serious crimes that occur on or near their campuses.
