For sure, Iraq just exists since its invasion by the USA in 2003... If I remember well my lessons, this land has seen much more history than lots of others. Isn't it the place were the first civilizations appeared. Oups, this is not believeable...

If you want to expand on this, go ahead. Iraq is the elephant in the livingroom of the current political landscape, so I'm not surprised nobody wants to touch this listing. --Sandbagger 16:24, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

Failed State Index

Source reads, "third annual Failed States Index"; now beg pardon, this appears from its name to be a concocted "survey" for aiming at a politcal impact. The Fund for Peace, Morton Halperin, the VVAW, World Peace Council probably doesn't really add up to a qualified source we wish to rely. RobS 17:11, 18 June 2007 (EDT)

I don't wish to say blanketly the source, Fund for Peace, is a left-wing commie front organization, because I believe it does do some good work in some parts of the world. But it would not be a fair assessment to say this organization is non-partisan, and this particular survey, given this particular name, at this particular juncture in history, IMHO, was created for exactly a partisan prejudicial purpose.
