The Daily Express is a UK-based newspaper. It describes itself as being "proudly conservative".[1]
The Daily Express is a generally right-leaning newspaper. The newspaper supported Brexit in 2016 and UKIP in the UK election the year before that.
That being said, the Express has also sided with liberal causes; supporting Labour in the 2001 UK election, for example. It also spread fake news in 2022 about an anti-abortion protester.[2]
