Joey Chestnut (b.1983) is the greatest competitive eater of all time.[1] He has been nearly unbeaten in Nathan's annual hot dog eating competition on Independence Day, and set an astounding record in that competition in 2021 of eating 76 hot dogs in only 10 minutes.
As reported by USA Today the day before the annual contest in 2025, "the 16-time Nathan’s champion set to return to the contest Friday after a one-year ban over a contractual dispute."[2]
