Bonds is widely suspected of having used performance-enhancing drugs in the later part of his career.  Since steroid tests have been instituted, he has never failed a test.  The investigations into the allegations are continuing.  One possible outcome is being indicted for perjury for information he gave during questioning back in 2003.

Bonds is widely suspected of having used performance-enhancing drugs in the later part of his career.  Since steroid tests have been instituted, he has never failed a test.  This is probably because he quit injecting and popping pills after the tests were put in place; the fact that his head has grown a full hat size and his muscles have bulged unnaturally in size since the mid-1990s makes it obvious to many that Bonds was a steroid user. The investigations into the allegations are continuing.  One possible outcome is being indicted for perjury for information he gave during questioning back in 2003.
