Alabama is a state in the United States. It was the twenty-second state to enter into the union, and was once a member of the Confederacy. Alabama is a state in the South, and it is a red state that favors Republicans in elections.
Recently, Barack Obama claimed in a speech that he was conceived in Selma, Alabama, even though he was in fact conceived four years earlier.
