A '''Percent''' is a measure of an amount to a another amount shown as a numeric value. It is represented based on the second number being considered to consist of 100 equally sized units, so an amount that equals the second value would be 100%, whereas a amount that is half of the second value would be represented as 50% and an amount that is double the second value would be represented as 200%.
