Toni Morrison (b. 1931) is a Nobel Prize-winning American author. Her best known novels are The Bluest Eye, Song of Solomon, and Beloved, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1988. Her novels Beloved and The Bluest Eye are on the American Library Association's ten most challenged books of 2006[1].
