Alluvium is a geological term that refers to freshly eroded rock particles that have been carried by streams. Alluvium is pounded into finer grains each time it is carried downstream. [1]
Origins
In Creationism there has been some debate over whether alluvium was created on the second day [2] when God separated the water below, or on the third day [3] when God commanded the water to come together into one place so dry ground became visible. The argument hinges on whether or not particles of dirt existed before the waters were gathered on the third day.
Use in Baraminology
In Baraminology, the alluvium can be used to help determine the age and dominion of Paleobaramin. [4]
