Born in Spain on the 1st of January in 1431. Like many rich boys of that time there family totally pushed off there wanted to a be a preist and tried to aim there mind on another profession. Alexander was the one who named the mark of Demarcation that awarded some of the new world discoveries to Spain and others to Portugal.
