And Similarly, ''tiktaalik'' might have been found in that deep stratum for either of at least two reasons: # It was less able to seek higher ground than other, "smarter" animals, and thus was buried deep in the Flood.# It is actually an antediluvian laboratory [[chimera]] and hence an [[outsimply a fish with slightly better-ofthan-place artifact]] of a society already known to have been inordinately cruelusually-developed pectoral and pelvic fins.
