Christian churches often fall victim to liberals and societies liberal surroundings; media, print, Hollywood, money, idols, etc. The teaching of Christ cannot be changed to reflect the times. Yet many churches fall into the trap of being open to [[gay]] congregations and gay rights. They support political parties even though this is forbidden by tax-exempt laws. They even welcome abortion candidates to speak at their altars. Some Christian churches actually use hate speech in their sermons and they are given standing ovations for it. <ref>[http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/04/obamas_chickens_come_home_to_r.html], Obama's Chickens Come Home to Roost, April 30, 2008</ref>
