Monosodium Glutamate (also known as MSG) is a flavor enhancer that is commonly used in some Asian foods.Though it is generally recognized as safe[1] by the Food and Drug Administration (the agency which regulates the usage of such additives in the United States), MSG has been implicated as a cause autism and ADHD in children, as well as many other ailments.[2] Some claim it is possible addictive.
