A stubby holder is a cup shaped object constructed of thermally insulative porous polymer based foam, often with a layer of dye on the outer edge depicting an image. The holder is designed to fit snugly around a beer bottle, and prevents two things:
- The holders hand from getting cold from the beer, and wet from the condensation
- The beer warming up due to the heat transfer from the users hand that would otherwise occur in the absence of aforementioned holder.
