Cheese Rolling

Cheese rolling is an obscure English sport in which a circle of cheese (known as a 'round') is released to roll down a hill and the competitors must chase after it. Theoretically, the aim of the sport is to catch the cheese, but as this almost never happens, the winner is the first person to reach the bottom of the hill, and the prize is, of course, the cheese. Due to the nature of the sport (a large group of people running down a hill), injuries are commonplace, and an ambulance is usually on hand at schedueled events.
