A team is a group of people or animals who are working together to perform a task. There is a leader who coordinates the efforts of the team. Each team member may perform part of the task in a specialized area or all the team members may work together to combine their efforts at a single chore.

Examples of teams are, horses or dogs where they combine strength to pull a cart or sled, sportsmen who do different tasks in playing games like football or basketball, and computer programmers where they work together to complete a assigned application.
