Internet Infidels, owns and operates the website the Secular Web. The Secular Web is a website which promotes atheism, agnosticism, and skeptics on the internet. Its stated aim is to promote Metaphysical Naturalism.[1] Christian apologist JP Holding has stated regarding the Secular Web: "The Secular Web has a few intelligent people, but overall has long been a haven for every skeptical know-it-all to pronounce judgments upon matters outside of their expertise."[2]
JP Holding and Internet Infidels
Although JP Holding has written rebuttals of the prominent members of the skeptical community such as David Hume[3], Friedrich Nietzsche[4] and G.A. Wells[5][6], Holding has also written rebuttals of lesser-known members of the secular community who publish and/or are featured on the Secular Web such as:
- Earl Doherty [7]
- Richard Carrier [8]
- Dan Barker [9]
- Farrel Till [10]
- Stephen Carr [11]
- Jeffery Jay Lowder [12]
- Acharya S [13]
- Kyle Gerkin [14]
Dissension at Internet Infidels forum
In 2007, it appears as if the Internet Infidels forum had a significant amount of internal dissension which caused some forum members to depart.[15]
